Indy Carter was a normal neglected child living in a foster home. That was until she met Lydia Martin and her friends. 
    
    Learning about supernatural beings has been quite a lot to wrap her head around. But after moving in with Lydia and starting at Beacon Hills High School, Indy's going to have to wrap her head around the supernatural powers that she contains herself.
    
    As well as this, Indy meets the new kid in town Liam. He's arrogant, cocky but very good looking and
    she finds herself immediately attracted to him. Why? She has no idea, but after a long series of events including Liam being bitten by Scott, she must push her feelings aside and help protect her friends from the Benefactor.
    
    She's tough, but under all of this pressure she's starting to crack. What will happen if she breaks again?
