No love. That was the rule.
No sort of emotional bond that would eventually be too much to handle. What she forgot to mention was that maybe she wouldn't fall in love but she had certainly gotten attached from the moment he walked into her life. It was too late. The agreement they had gotten into was surely going to be a failure, she had said various of times that she would never break the "just sex" rule, but maybe it was broken way before she had the chance to express that she didn't want to give him the chance to break her.
