c!Tommy has always reminded me of Icarus and I never see this comparison. yet anyone who studies it could see it if they focused. both boys reach for something they longed for and end up in flames. it's always Theseus who he's compared to instead. so with my coffee-jittered brain, I wrote a poetic-like narrative of Tommy telling his side of the story. a crash and burned hero that we all adore.

Tommy was like Icarus. He was soaring ever closer to the sun. He didn't notice his wings melting. He didn't care until he came plummeting to the earth. The air filled his lungs one more time as he hit the ground. He opened his eyes to find that everyone had left him to die, everything was gone. -- or Nov 16. Wilbur blew up L'manburg. Wilbur died. Tommy lost everything. But that's not what really happened. Wilbur begged Phil to take his life but the blond had another idea. Of a Flock
A teenage boy is running from the law. A large bounty is over his head, and five Hunters are constantly chasing him, determined to get the money. It all changes when Dream gets wings. Now everything that he knew about life is upside down and twisted. As he is a magpie, his "bird-brain" takes over when he sees anything shiny, and he immediately wants it. It also pops up during great emotion, scattering his usual calm and cold reactions. His wings are tiny, not yet full grown, like they should have been because most avians are born with their wings. He doesn't know who he is, or what to call himself, and he no longer feels safe with the sudden new dangers around him, especially with his fresh wings to take care of. And now he is forced to play in a harsh competition of something like Minecraft where he has enemies from day one. At least he has Techno, his partner, who is only three years older than him, but he can't help but feel like the pink-winged avian could be a father. At least, until he realizes why that person wanted to protect him. And then he feels betrayed.Terminé
