I have not read the book but I saw the name and instantly fell in love with what that character could be. Everything besides the name (and characters in the original movie) was made up entirely by me! I just wanted to make sure I credit the idea for the name since this fic wouldn't t have happened without looking at that story.

When the evil Pitch Black threatens the children of the world, (Y/N) and Jack are chosen as two new Guardians to defend them. The only problem is, nobody trusts (Y/N), and nobody takes Jack seriously. As a shadowy past threatens to overtake Cupid, she must confront the darker parts of herself or lose the person she cares most about in the world. Note: please don't read this one if you're under 16, 15 absolute minimum. It's not appropriate and it makes me very uncomfortable to see actual children in my comment section. But grief is complicated, and feelings are messy. Luckily, Teddy has a plan. Or many. (Unfortunately, most of them are disasters.) NOTES: This story is a remake for my fanfiction "A New Dawn". 1. This my lightest fanfic ever, despite it's sad first chapters. 2. Please, bear in mind that English's not my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes or errors. 3. I don't usually go against canon. However, the idea of Lupin surviving, even with his spirit appearing to Harry, fits perfectly with the concept of a coma and could have happened. We can fit it into canon. I absolutely adore Tonks with all my heart, but I've had a crush on Remus Lupin ever since I read The Prisoner of Azkaban almost 20 years ago, before seeing the film. Back then, I used to write fanfics (during classes!!! Oops! Even so, I still got good grades! haha) about Remus Lupin and a character entirely inspired by me, called Mary Hallow. In one of those fanfics, set in the Marauders' era and called "Memories of a Marauder Wolf" -which I'm currently trying to rewrite, but it hasn't been easy-I worked through my teenage traumas with the story I wrote. Although nowadays I only read and write 'Remadora' fanfics (Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks), I decided to revisit Mary Hallow to work through my adult traumas (or as I like to say, 'exorcise my demons'). So, even though this Mary Hallow no longer has a certain issue that defined her in my older fanfics, many of the things in the story are-once again-things I personally experienced. Basically, it's just another 'fanfic' to complement my therapy sessions. LOLComplete
