On the other side of the building through the window, a family is celebrating their daughter's birthday. The room was dim and a cake was placed in front of the girl, waiting patiently for her blindfold to be taken off to blow the candle that was brightly lit on the cake. I can see that the other members opened their mouths to sing the song for her. When it was time to blow the candle out, her blindfold was taken off. Oh how beautiful she looked when she smiled. That warm feeling of being loved by those around you. At the very end, the mother and father come close and wrapped around their daughter in one warm big embrace. This feeling welled up sadness inside my dark heart. For I didn't have anything like that. I haven't felt that feeling for many years.... However, little did she know that a simple gift change her life whole in this dreary metal of the so-called city of paradise, a bonsai tree.
