She laughed, but it was no longer that sweet laugh that he'd heard hours ago if that laugh was real. He gasped, unable to form words as the puncture in his lung made him simply gasp and whimper for breath.
She leaned down to him and pulled his wrist to her mouth, and her face immediately changed; the familiar vampire fangs slid out of her gums and her eyes changed into a stormy red, swirling with black. Biting into his wrist, she began to drain him dry. He could say nothing, only laid speechless as she pulled the blood into her lips. Releasing his wrist after she'd had her fill with a pop, she dragged her bloodied fingers to her lips and sucked on them, her face still unchanged. She released her fingers with a smile on her face and a small giggle, then placed her fingers on his lips, shushing his whimpers of pain.
'You trusted me, Steven, and now you have paid the price.' Standing up, she withdrew the blade from his ribs, making him gasp once more.
The last he saw of her before the light left his eyes for the last time was her skipping down the hall, twirling her blade in her fingers singing that damn song, the one that he'd heard a thousand times before as she'd sung it in her cell.
'Tili Tili Bom... Close your eyes now... Someone's walking outside and knocking on the door... Tili Tili Bom...'
