I've always been the shadow, the echo, the back up, but I've never been the main character, never been the leading lady, and that was fine with me
until he came along and made me want to shine, to be jealous of my friends who had always been the lead. He made me want to lead the song, not just be an echo.
Admiring him makes me want to step far outside my comfort zone, and I am more than willing to do so.
Loving him from afar made me hated the shadows, which had been my solace.
