Once a year is hunting season. Since the rebellion wars the elves are in power. Humans live in terror and fear. Meanwhile the elves, protected by the darkened woods and its creatures, live a glamourous live. But there is hope. The prophecy says, the human who enters the forests as a sacrifice and emerges victorious will be able to defeat the elves and lead the humans to new dominion. Since then each year, 5 persons from each kingdom are chosen at birth. At the age of 20 they are abandoned in the woods, left to fate.
Anaya is one of them.
But not only does she and the other sacrifices have to survive the creatures, but also the hunters, who were created by the elves.
Will she make it out alive? Will she fulfill the prophecy?
