A prologue of the short story I previously published on Wattpad, Sacrifice.
Mia finds herself keep losing her consciousness. After an investigation, she finds out her energy is being absorbed by a spirit that she thought she had vanquished. In order to fully vanquished the spirit, Mia must kill it using a special blade that can only be conjured by Mia or Adam, her fiance. But, to conjure the blade, they have to exhaust their energy which might lead to death. For Adam's safety, Mia is willing to go for the extreme, even if it means risking her life. Will it work?
