Echoes of Destiny

Iris never thought it would come to this. One last hope, one train to catch, and one final push sends her flying to her death. She was ready. However, the gods, or a certain God took pity on this small life. Giving Iris a new chance at a new life...that isn't quite better. She is as poor as ever, she has to pretend to be a boy, and she gets berated by peers and family alike. Until the fateful day when luck smiles upon her and she is enrolled into every noble and peasants dream alike, the prestigious Verdaliant Academy. Was it just luck though? Or was there something more sinister to this odd pairing?
