Sion is a scientist for the White Diamond army, she studies strange places, events, and sightings that are reported having to do with an unknown creature that the world calls specimen Etym (Etym's) to figure out how the downfall of her hometown and world came to be. Along the way she meets a new boy, they don't exactly hit it off at first but he interests her later, maybe a little too much... Sion made the decision to walk into a world where she thinks she will find her answer, but will she regret finding out?

Siobhan used to love being out in the sun, summer was her favourite season after all but people can change like the seasons. Siobhan had been like summer, warm and fun to be around, but now she is more like autumn, cold and her mood was becoming darker. She can feel it in her bones that soon she will become winter, cold, dark and dangerous. The reason for this change, she was bitten by some unknown monster and soon after her body and mind began to change. It has been a year since she had received the bite and Siobhan desperately clings to what humanity she has left in her but she knows that time is running out for her. She travels the continent looking for a cure to what she has become but she must hurry as someone is coming to find her. Once he has found her there is no going back, Siobhan will never be human again if he finds her before she finds a cure. Add in the stress of having to hide her condition from her youngest sister, her soon to be brother in law, a travelling priest and a knight of the empire will make the whole ordeal a lot harder for Siobhan than she would have ever dreamed it would be.
