My best friend is dying is about 2 girls who are best friends and one of them gets cancer and she could die any day. The other girl is trying very hard to make sure she doesn't die. She tries until there is nothing she can do.
Emma and Katie know that someday they will die but they want to die together and not at the age 17.
Katie doesn't want to tell Emma what a dr told her. She doesn't want to tell her bc it's something that will crush her heart. Katie believes that she can keep the secret for awhile.
But emma knows something is up. Will emma be able to save Katie from cancer? Or will cancer steal the most important thing to Emma?
