Sarah Guidry has been on her own since the age of 16. She has no one in her life when she receives a text from Thomas Miller. She considered herself a lost soul before being drawn into the search for Hannah. In a short amount of time, eight strangers become family to her. A ninth stranger seems more familiar than strange. Now that Hannah has been found, things seem to be changing. The discovery of the identity of the Man Without a Face has Sarah doubting everything she learned about her friends. Richy's secrets haunt her, and she is reeling from the events at the Grimrock. There are few she trusts and she starts pushing everyone away. That doesn't mean that she doesn't grieve for the loss of her newfound family. Love and trust are now things she feels she doesn't deserve. Can she pick up the pieces and rebuild her family? "I wiped my phone of his existence and of the Duskwood crew; but not before uploading my contacts and important documents and conversations to the cloud. I destroyed both the phone and sim card... ...I lived in darkness for the first six weeks or so. I was not unfamiliar with the feeling; it had haunted me for almost 15 years." This story is based on characters and events from Duskwood, a mobile game by Everbyte Studios. All characters belong to them, except my original character, Sarah. Some dialogue is borrowed from the game to keep continuity. Please do not post my story elsewhere. This story contains mature content including: Talk of suicide and self-harm, mental illness, sexual assault, violence, sexual situations and death

(Duskwood with alternate ending) Willow and Jake love to drive each other crazy and the fact that they are chasing a masked madman doesn't seem to stand in the way. But will they be able to find Hannah? They should watch their backs, because soon things can get deadly. Or hilarious. Or both! -------------------- I tried to balance the story between thriller/mystery and comedy, I really wanted to do a little lighter and funnier (yet still serious) version of Duskwood, answering the questions that were left open along the way. The story begins at the beginning of 9th episode, right after Jessy's and Thomas' visit at Michael Hanson's house. I'm following the game plot a little, but then things will change drastically. (Little additional info for you: English is my second language and I'm constantly correcting any mistakes I can find, so if you see anything out of place, feel free to let me know.) Please note that this book is rated 18+ and contains content suitable for mature audiences. Appropriate trigger warnings are included, and most intimate scenes are skippable. But still, if you're not over 18, please do not interact and find something else to read :) (Cover drawn by me)
