Lily and Ashton were best friends. The key word in that sentence? Were. When Ashton joined 5 Seconds of Summer, it didn't take much time for him to leave behind Lily. Now, a few years later, Ashton receives a phone call from the hospital informing him that Lily has gotten into a car accident. When he arrives, he finds out that she's lost all her childhood memories, and more importantly, she's forgotten Ashton completely. Through the battle of love, friendship, competition, and hardships, Ashton has one sole purpose. To help Lily regain her memory, no matter what the cost. Even if it means reliving the old ones, and creating more along the way.
