This is my writing process for the story Carlyssa! It includes special BTS (behind the scenes) action, fun easter eggs, underlying connections, Q+A, and character profiles that won't be shown in the actual books. The title, Reach for the Stars, is a subtle nod to two characters' love of astrological and astronomical sciences, a reference to my own name (like the W-shaped constellation), and a shoutout to a scene not yet seen. I put waaaaaaay too much effort into this story, and I'm not a very good author, but here you can see at least part of what I'm trying to do. I'll also include some tips for new writers, some from experience and some from Pinterest (XD).

Ben was everything she'd wanted since they were kids, chasing each other around the castles. However, when Audrey claimed him at the ripe age of 5, Ryder was forced to hide her affections. She settled for having a best friend in the boy she considered her first love. She hadn't thought of anyone else, until he joined her at Auradon Prep.
