Sa payapang bayan ng Haliya, may isang babaeng nagsisikap para maiahon ang pamilya sa hirap. She's used to a life where she has to work hard to earn her family's basic needs. She would roam around the town to sell snacks, she would cook dishes for special occasions, she would enter as a helper or do laundries for other people. It's not her responsibility to do all these things, but after her mother left them for another man, she knew that her life is bound to be difficult.

Aethera Candelario doesn't give a shit about anything else except work and studies. Marami man ang nagkakandarapa sa kaniya sa angking kagandahan, she would immediately reject all of them. Mapa-babae o mapa-lalaki. She believed that entering in a relationship is shallow. Kasi ganoon naman ang pinakita sa kaniya ng ina niya.
