She had the perfect life-until grief shattered everything. Now London is her second chance... even if she doesn't want it. Aria Staci had it all: daughter of Seattle's mayor, top of her class, the perfect family. But when her mother dies suddenly at the end of junior year, everything unravels. One reckless summer later, Aria's father ships her across the ocean to London to finish her senior year at a Barrington Academy-hoping discipline and distance will fix what's broken. But London isn't what Aria expects. Neither is Malik Evans-the quiet, guarded musician with shadows in his past and a fire in his voice that stirs something in her. Thrown into a world of fierce competition, late-night rehearsals, and girls who smile with knives behind their backs, Aria must find her place again-through music, through dance, and through a boy everyone warns her to stay away from. In a city where no one knows her name, Aria learns what it means to be seen-for who she really is. And in Malik, she just might find the kind of love she never thought she deserved.

I was frozen to my spot, watching his slightly darkened eyes roam my body and I couldn't help the embarrassment that suddenly coursed through me. Heat rushed up to my face as I timidly moved my eyes away from his intense gaze, crossing my bare legs over one another as I bit my lip. I felt completely vulnerable. The silence was soon thankfully broken when he cleared his throat, bringing my eyes back up to find him turn around to shut the bedroom door. ----------------------------------------------------------- Constantly having to move from town to town due to her father's condition was never easy for Aria Clark. Her father meant everything to her and although it's hard for her as a young teenager to start fresh every time she learns to get comfortable, she vows to do anything to be by her father's side. With no expectations she once again enters a new town, planning to get through the school years until she is told to move again. But what if Harlow is not like the other towns she had moved to in the past? What if the town and the people in it completely change her life and bring about an experience she may have never imagined?
