His eyes softened so full of emotion, one of his hands that gripped my waist tightly, moved up to cup my face and he slowly stroked his thumb over my bright pink cheek. "You're all I'll ever need, love."
A smile grazed my warm face, I wrapped my hands around his neck, pulling him in closer. "What if I'm not enough for you?"
He simply leaned down and kissed my forehead, then my temple, my cheeks, my nose, my ear, and the corner of my mouth before engulfing me in a full kiss. It only lasted a second before he pulled away.
"You're all I need, Tahira." He said it this time with more assurance, with his whole heart. "And more."

He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle.
