"Uuh, well let's just say..." tilting my head in thought I decided for the simplest answer, "I didn't like Dallas all that much. It's like every asshole holed up in there ... just a city of jerks."

"Hmm," JJ nodded, "So you came here to your brother."

"Yeah. I guessed it would better."

"You like it here so far?"

"I like the peace here."

He laughed with an incredulous look, "You're in for a ride neighbour. You still haven't met anyone."

"Oh really?"

"This side of town belongs to the Pogues. So that makes you a Pogue."

"... And what does that mean?"

"It means that you'll get discriminated and ignored. Every single prick in this town will make you feel miserable."

I was speechless.

"You'll grow to love it eventually."

"And ... you're a Pogue?"

"Yup," he smiled a toothy grin, "You should meet the rest."
