In the year 2019, seven kids from a dysfunctional superhero family called "The Umbrella Academy" returned to their original timeline and welcomed their newest member, Lila Hargreeves. After a few months, things begin to calm down as there are no more apocalypses, deeming the world 'ultimately saved'.

However, they quickly learn that the world's problems don't just stop after the apocalypses do. More issues arise throughout the New York City streets, and it becomes only a matter of time before this new threat appears on their radar, showing them just how much they're needed.
