An angel and a demon. Mortal enemies.

Elymd tends to the Garden. Her role is to look after the garden's inhabitants, including the humans. So when Adam and Eve are kicked out, Elymd still has an urge to save Eve.

Outside the garden dwells demons. Lilith and Vannor keep them in check, but sometimes chaos ensues. After the two exiles arrive, things won't be the same.

I originally wasn't gonna post this, but a friend encouraged me and I can't disappoint my friends.

Disclaimer: I was raised Lutheran. Our church didn't discuss demons and angels very much, the main exceptions being Gabriel and Michael. So if I get anything "wrong", my apologies. This is also a fiction book, the occurrences shouldn't be taken literally. Saying this in case anyone tries to attack me in the comments.
