After fourteen years of living under her mother's "guidance" - bullies for friends, harsh punishments, and bratty siblings - she is over her life in the Boiling Isles. Taking her chances, Amity will discover a world of endless possibilities, and learn to pay rent.

Luz finally returns from the summer camp she was sent to by her mother, meaning she will finally be normal... or in public, at least. Deep down, she's still the anime loving, AMV making, fanfic writing nerd, but in an attempt to stay out of trouble, Luz must hide this side of herself from everyone. Little does she know, the magical side of the universe doesn't call to her, she calls to it!

Luz has went to camp and when she came back she didn't act any different, she still didn't get one friend so her mother (Camila) changed. She got aggressive/abusive with Luz and school doesn't help, the second day of school comes and before Luz leaves she runs away and finds a house. Luz runs into it and turns out it took her to the boiling isles. But Luz has changed, she was mean, quiet, hostile and had mad trust and anger issues she also developed Hemophobia (fear of blood) and Traumatophobia (fear of having an injury). When joining Hexside the girls there were mean and harsh like the kids at her human school, but Luz learned how to stick her ground there at her human school. Luz would stand her ground and be mean to literally everyone that got in her way. Luz has to attend Hexside High, a prestigious boarding school in Bonesborough. Luz has always had a thing for music and money, so she decides to create a band since she has to be stuck there. Amity Blight goes to Hexside High, she is the next to own her family's multimillion business. although she has always had more of a liking to singing then creating home defense systems. she has a secret not many know about, besides her siblings of course. and she accidentally flirts with none other than the new student. human band AU. contains; sexual context, alcoholic beverages, smoking, and cursing. At 17 years old Luz decided to run from home she manage to go between realms and ended up on the Boiling Isles. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. She has to deal with various threats, from the deadly environment, and tyrannical government, to her own demons. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life. How will she deal with the new problem? Will fighting your way through be enough?
