She was beautiful, her smile could light up the room. She had so much promise, an excellent student. I can't believe this happened to her, she did everything right. When a young girl is taken from the world it seems like they're always perfect. Adventurous, caring, beautiful, altruistic, not a blemish on their character. So the world laments their passing, grieves for the light that left the world to early. They become so determined to find the monster who did it to them that they won't rest until the girls been given justice. But, what about girls like me? The ones who live in the shadows, who walk in the mud to survive. The ones who had no promise, no gleaming smile or impressive academic record. The ones who fade from the world as if they were never there. The world doesn't care about those girls, they don't fight for closure. So it's up to me to get my own justice. "Who are you?" I asked, still left in the shock and scared state that came over me when gunshots were heard. I look up to his face which was hidden behind a dark shadow and bit my lips as silence fell between us. "Who I am is none of your business," he said in a cold, husky voice that somehow caused me to shiver. A frown made it's way onto my face as I looked at the mysterious man who refused to tell me who he is. He stood tall in front of me as we fell into silence again but only for a few seconds before he began to slowly move towards me. His face slowly being exposed to the light, giving me a glimpse of his icy grey eyes. "let's go" he spoke again before turning around. She loves her job to her heart and counts it as a blessing since it helps in paying her bills. So everything was going quite well in her life, except for the fact that her boss hated her, but apart from that she was okay and everything was going well...but all of that came to an end on one specific night when she found herself in the arms of danger after encountering a mysterious yet dangerous man, who had also happen to have a lot of enemies. And since she had encountered him, she had been targeted as a worker for him and so she was promised that her life will be protected by the mysterious man as a returned favor for her saving his life. She has now entered a world where chaos, lies, hurt, death and truth reside and will find herself in a place where though decisions are thrown at her. So, What will she do when she's being chased down by enemies that seek to take her innocent life? Can she trust a man, she never knew, to protect her? Can she....survive? "Goodnight my Queen" I shivered at the title he had given me, I was scared to the bone and I was not about to argue with him while he had a taste for blood the look in his eyes told me he still wanted more when he entered the car earlier on. He tenderly kissed my forehead lingering as my heart exploded I waited patiently and shut my eyes praying for him to remove his lips from my skin so I could go home. He finally did and when he unlocked the car doors I jumped out and hurried to my apartment not looking back at the devil in the car. I finally reached my apartment panting and shut the door sliding down my door crying hysterically, I could still feel his cold lips on me. What did I just witness tonight. What did I get myself into. I was scared of the future because I knew surely he would be back to check on his Queen.
