The year was 2024 when the world died. First the supposed cure for a global pandemic turned violent. It turned the world against itself. Countries became battlegrounds, cities became graveyards. And soon, humanity became something some only dreamed of. 
Then the earth opened and they came. They destroyed most of what was left on the planet.
The few remaining survivors tried to keep what was left and rebuild. And they did.
The year was 2224 when the world ended. And this is how it happened.
