The newsies have grown up. It's 1914, a year after Kid Blink passed away. But Jack is not allowed to forget him so easily; he's given a letter signed by Kid Blink the day before he died, giving Jack vague instructions, and more confusion than anything else. A public school, where he would have no friends. That is, until he meets Jack Kelly and his group of friends, dubbed the 'Newsies' due to their work selling the school newspaper and working on the school news team. Suddenly, Davey isn't so lonely anymore.
