Klaus Mikaelson died in order to save his daughter Hope. But after his death, Klaus left something or better say someone behind. His oldest daughter, whom he adopted in 1935., Valentina. Heartbroken by her fathers death and the death of her younger sister and boyfriend, Valentina vows to protect Hope. She enrolls in Salvatore Boarding School but doesn't use the last name Mikaelson. For a while, protecting Hope was easy. Hope mostly kept to herself, and Valentina was the only person she really talked to. But when a certain boy comes to Salvatore School, things change. Creatures that were supposed to be just myths turn out to be real. To make matters worse, Hope constantly puts herself in danger even though it isn't her job to protect the school. That's what the headmaster, whom Valentina hates, and teachers are supposed to do. Valentina tries to convince Hope not to put herself in danger, but Hope is a Mikaelson after all, and every Mikaelson is stubborn. More you tell them not to do something, more they will want to do it. Now, Valentina is fighting monsters and protecting the school she wants to burn to the ground to protect her sister just like she vowed to do. After all, family is the most important thing in the world, and Valentina protects hers with all she has. Always and Forever.

In which Hope Mikaelson has a twin sister named Faith who takes the term "dysfunctional family" in the wrong way. For Faith it was okay that her sister went to a magic school. It was okay that her parents didn't pay much attention to her. It was normal to feel as lonely as she usually did. It was okay to be used as a bargaining chip in her parents affairs. Everyone knows the story about the Mikaelson family, how they came to Mystic Falls and ruined the lives of everyone there. No one talked about why everything happened, no one talked about how it all could have been avoided easily, no one talked about it because every story needs a villain and the Mikaelson's were fine with playing the villain. If you're a villain then it meant people wouldn't dare to go against you in fear of dying, being a villain meant being feared. When the rumors of Niklaus and Matthias Mikaelson having children began to circulate throughout the supernatural world, there was no denying that it scared people. The Mikaelson's were already at the top of the food chain, they were superior in every way possible, so having kids just meant that there would be more. It scared people. It scared them because no one wants to talk about how Niklaus is finally happy, how Matthias is finally at peace in his life with minimum stress, or how the rest of the Mikaelson's had found their own place in the world. Instead, people wanted to talk about how they didn't deserve that piece of happiness they found, they wanted to talk about all the bad things done and refused to see that what they were doing now was nothing but live their lives. Because being a part of the Mikaelson bloodline meant you were evil.
