Stiles is a Fox and on his 17th birthday he turns into a fox. No one but the Sheriff knows, and, in the woods, Scott and the pack are in the woods looking for a were creature trespassing on the property. Scott and Lydia see something move. 

Scott wolfs up seeing the creature and the second they locked eyes Scott knew as the eyes of the fox light up. He watches in shock as the fox prances away. Scott calls a pack meeting and of course the Sheriff and Deaton are present. 

The Sheriff explains it to them, and Deaton suggest we leave him alone but Scott's not having it. They all decide to do the same as he did with Malia and little did, they know what dangers this would bring in doing so.
