[My first attempt at a 1st person POV]
Twenty one years old. Same day as any other day. Same life as it's always been. Wake up, work, nap, play a few games, sleep. Rinse and repeat. I knew this cycle was coming when I first started working but, even still, I'm used to it.
What I'm not used to is something crashing through my window. My window has bars on it by the way! Whatever the hell this thing is, looks like I gotta take care of it now.

This was never meant to be my life. My life had been decided when I was 14. But 20 years later, it was completely undecided by circumstances I had less than no control over. In school from Kindergarten-10th grade you were heavily bullied because of your weight seeing as you were a chubby kid all your life. You were always made fun of for being short and chubby or fat as kids called you. Even though you were extremely smart and got great grades a lot of kids made fun of you saying you were stupid,fat,ugly,worthless etc...All you have is your family. Your family always supports you and tries to make you happy. Your family loves you deeply but other than that you don't exactly have good friends and the guy your with isn't the nicest. You work at a small coffee/tea cafe for a nice woman named Charlotte. You have the evening into night shift. You work 4:45pm-midnight.
