This story takes place in the fall of 2009, in Mandela County. You have been dealing with alternates your whole life, in fact, they've become a regular thing. Ever since the order of destroying all electronics with screens and mirrors, alternate appearances have become so rare, that some begin even to question their existence. You have always been curious about these alternates, not so much afraid. 19 years old, you are finally starting your own life, moving away from your paranoid father. Attending classes at Mandela University, trying to make friends, you life finally seem to be taking a turn for the better. But something insidious lurks in your past. You can't help but feel responsible for your mother's death. Will you uncover the secrets of the alternates' true intentions, find out what your father is hiding from you?
