Have you ever wondered, "What is death like?" For Elle O'Hare, pretty boring. The poor thing was only 18 years old when she was struck by a car, resulting in her death. Not only that, her ghost self can't even watch over past family, unfortunately for her, she can't quite seem to remember a thing about her life. She spends her days invisibly people-watching on the streets of London, also confusing, seeing as she has the faintest notion that she was American. Days pass and Elle looses hope of ever finding out what her life was like- that is until a mysterious boy shows up and lays flowers in her memory.
