Y/N Hopper hasn't seen her dad since 1978, when her younger sister died. She hasn't heard from him since 1979, when he properly left her and her mom. But now, because her mom wants a freshstart with some jackass, she finds herself in the small town of Hawkins in 1983. The town is incredibly boring except for the discovery of alternate dimensions, monsters and young girls with powers. And maybe, the douchebag popular guy 'King Steve' who is slowly becoming less of an asshole and more of a cute babysitter.

But Nick never signed up for missing children, demogorgon attacks and having to save the world. Just as George had started to make friends, everything fell apart. Now George will do everything he can to save his friend, even if it means risking his own life. Much to the dismay of his overprotective older sister. Nick had always been protective of her brother, but how can she protect him now? AN: This will end up being a Steve x OC fic but I don't want to rush his character arch (which was so well done in the series).
