Mayumi Kuzo knows nothing about borderland when she wakes up in it, let alone how to survive it. Her life thrives on her survival skills, though the aspect of games and the twists they bring add a new element in her life that both shocks and intrigues her.
What's more to borderland, why did she end up here, and what are the true intentions of this place? She sets herself up to accomplish these answers to the best of her ability, until road blocks arise that she can't quite control. Chishiya Shuntaro being one of them that make her heart race almost more than one of the games.
With the disappearance of her sister still weighing heavily on her mentally, will she be able to conquer the waters that are borderland alone? Can someone like her, so lost and numb to most find someone to connect with, that maybe understands her to some extent?

An actress flying to Tokyo for an audition meets a strange, clever man named Chishiya - only to find herself trapped in the deadly Borderland. That being said, this story roughly follows the timeline of the Netflix show but may have moments that don't fully line up.
