We watch the Earth take its final breath. Humankind began to decline, and previously unseen species began to emerge-Earth was a blank canvas ready to be repainted. However, there were still people alive who had tampered with the old Earth's downfall. They remained but were hunted for life in order to prevent the new Earth from suffering the same fate as the old.

People like them are referred to as Remnants.
