In what seems like a split second, Y/N's normal life at the academy had turned upside down. A mysterious tornado had swallowed her best friend, Zelda, casting a shadow on the wing ceremony. Link, convinced that it's all his fault, embarks on a journey to the surface to find Zelda. Y/N follows after, not trusting the sleepy, air headed boy to take care of himself.

The two friends are constantly entangled in a never-ending conflict.  When they realise their true feelings, things are already too broken. The world is about to be thrown into an endless shadow. Zelda is in grave danger. Link is breaking apart. Y/N can't take it.

In the end, will love be able to conquer all?

One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda.
