Prologue

" She needs someone to look after her"
" I have an entire company to run, I don't have the time"
" My wife doesn't want her there"
"Put her in a home!"

My great granddaughter tugged my skirt then smile at me and I smiled too.
" Happy 90th birthday Granny Zeni"
I nodded, then turned my attention back to my grandchildren as they discussed who would look after me. Strange, I don't even feel 90, they are discussing boards like they have any idea how we accumulated the money they so recklessly spend and take for granted. Ah Harry would be so disappointed but he'd probably laugh at them. He would laugh at how none of them actually read the bylaws to any of the companies because they would know De Riek and Zakhe doesn't belong to any of them, they will never shareholders even when I die. It's meant to be passed down and shared equally with no share value when someone sells their shares to outsiders.

" I am off to bed"
I told my nurse and she helped me get up, we walked hand in hand to my room. Age, such an admirable concept, I finally understand the "inspire before you expire" nonsense.

" Switch off the lights on your way out"
I said to my nurse after she tucked me in.
" Oh I miss you Harry, we would be laughing and dancing on tables. It has always just been You and Me but now it's just Me"
