Emilia "Echo" Shaw and Jake "Hangman" Seresin have been rivals since day one at the Top Gun Academy, fighting for the coveted spot of Top Gun and later for a spot on a highly dangerous mission. Always at each other's throats, fighting, bickering and... kissing?? The two rivals are locked in a heated love-hate relationship, while navigating life in the top 1% of pilots.
Begins a year or so before the events of Top Gun: Maverick, while the two were attending the school.

Emerson Blackwood and Skye Kazansky had dreamed of becoming pilots for as long as they could remember.
