My family has been going to Susannah's beach house at Cousins Beach every summer since I was a baby, since before I was even born. The dads come to visit, but it's not their place. They don't belong to it. Not the way we do. The mothers and us kids. The summer house is made up of lots of things. The beach, the swimming pool late at night with Belly, movie nights with the moms, but the boys, the boys most of all. All year long, i count the days until I'm in that house again to see them, to see him, Jeremiah Fisher. Susannah's son, and also my crush since i was like 12.

I've never told him obviously or really anyone in that matter only my sister, Belly and best friend from home, Taylor.

You see the past summers has been the same, we hang out a lot but that's normal considering he's my best friend and because were always in the same house together every summer. Belly always says there's something there but I think that he just sees me as a sister. Susannah has also always told me and Belly that we were "destined" for her boys, that she wouldn't want them to be with anyone else.
