Ali, Missy and Jay are, surprisingly, friends. And they're the type of friends that no matter how much Missy gets annoyed with Ali and Jay, or Ali is reminded that she has made out with Jay, in 7th grade, whenever she see his stupid face, or Jay can see that they are judging him, they will always be there for each other. Which is why Ali and Missy try to become matchmakers, and stick their noses in others people business, whenever they find a secret admirer letter to Jay.
(This is literally me just projecting the headcanon I have that Jay, Ali and Missy are besties. Also this is a rewrite of season 5, but it's really only going to focus on Jatthew.)
