During a run-in with some thugs in an alleyway after a scandalous heist to steal a Xia dynasty sword and sell it to the highest bidder, Jin Xiao gets stabbed. He manages to stumble away from the fight, but he finds himself collapsing on the ground with no help in sight. 
    
    After he's sure that he's dead, Jin learns it's not so simple. Jin died on a worship site for a demon--one named Kyros Kozakov, who supposedly has an unhealthy gambling addiction. Jin also comes to find out that he's supposed to be bound to Kyros for all eternity... Good thing Kyros is cute.
