Her parents had decided that Anastasia needed a change of scenery, something to calm down her wild and irresponsible attitude, something to make her presentable and keep their family's reputation intact. For the next seven months she would be tagging along with her uncle Herb who coached the US olympic hockey team. Her parents were sure that this experience would teach her to be a responsible adult and give her a rude awakening to reality.

But in the end family always finds their way back to each other. This story is based on the Miracle movie but with a female player as the main character. The rights go to the makers of the Miracle movie. I own all the characters that aren't in the movie. I've also gotten some inspiration from Mike Eruzione's book "The Making of a Miracle" which is awesome by the way.

It also means Cole has to leave Meredith. He doesn't want to, but this is his new job, and she needs to finish school. He comes home once every couple months, when he has the time. Meredith needs to decide whether she finishes school, or she quits school for a while and moves to Minnesota with Cole. That's a very hard decision for her. But she knows what she wants to do. It's just whether her mind wants to follow her heart.
