Two months ago, Alex Prior's family imploded and his life was turned sideways. And now, with one month of summer left to go, Grayson Prior has moved him and his son across the border to a colourful new town: Riviam Point, Vancouver. Alex isn't going to miss his old life much, but he's not sure if he's ready for this new one to begin either. At least not everyone in this town will be a stranger to him. His penpal of one year, Carsyn Mitchell, just might be the friendly stepping-stone he needs to restart and be truly happy for once. But Carsyn's circle of friends, including an ex-member that's wronged one of them, are relentlessly pushing Alex to make more socially-charged choices than he knows what to do with. When a former life ends - Alex will figure out the complicated way - this is how a new one begins.

Sage Gibson wasn't prepared for his whole existence to be uprooted and moved away. He didn't love his life, but that didn't mean he wouldn't miss it. Now he's in a small town where he pretends not to notice the looks some people give him. Maybe it's the painted finger nails? He doesn't care all that much. He's too busy trying to figure himself out and how much of his past is affecting him. With his family to worry about and his own personal puzzle that is his mind, he doesn't have time to care about what people at school think of him. He's happy enough with his one new friend and gawking at her hot brother. (He will never admit that last part out loud.) That's all he needs. And if said hot brother wants to become friends too? Well, he won't complain. Marc Yamasaki is normally a quiet guy. He doesn't like to talk too much and everyone has just accepted that. He doesn't have much to say, so why try? He's too tired of trying to get people to care. When a new boy shows up, suddenly his interest is piqued. The freckled face boy is good at basketball and he's a little cute. Sure, he likes to talk a lot, but Marc finds it oddly adorable. The only slight problem is his hesitation to join the team, and the fact that he might be flirting with Aria, Marc's sister. He can't tell if he wants to hate or like this guy. Then he finds out he's gay? Cherry on top. So, what happens when the two boys get closer while playing basketball? Their friendship gets to feeling a little... odd. What will they become when a new tension starts to settle over them?

"When something terrible happens to someone, everyone feels sorry for you at first, they take your hand and cry fake tears and say how 'special' you are, how strong you are. But after a while they forget...Then they don't see a person anymore they just see this terrible thing and think you're terrible because of it...It's like a little switch that goes off in people's heads: one minute everyone is your friend and they care oh-so much, then, when things die down, they become terrified of you. You'd be surprised to see what fear can make someone do." Justin Ivanov has never led much of a normal life, but when his sister passes away, his entire world falls apart. Trapped in an abusive relationship and in a school where everyone is scared of him, Justin continues to deteriorate, pinning all his hope on his confused best friend, Ben Fulton. The Limits of Love

29 parts Complete Mature

Fred is your typical teenager; moody, has low-self esteem, and is really bad at math. The only thing that makes him different from the other guys is his taste in music and his sexuality. He knows what he wants right from the start, but is scared of other people thoughts and judgements, and that's why he's kept himself inside the closet ever since he realized he's not really into girls. He tried to hide it from everyone else, even to his close circle of friends, but all of his plans started going south when he meets their new neighbor, Darren, a very handsome fellow who moved to Los Angeles with his family all the way from South Korea to live at the house on the other side of the road. Fred falls for him at first-sight, and things started to escalate when he found out that they were on the same class, and things got even more deeper when Darren agreed to be his tutor in calculus. That's when he realized that his hiding needed to stop. Witness as the two of them struggle with their hardships, relationships, and responsibilities in life as they try to keep their friendship intact from a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Will they manage to keep their relationship as it is, or will it develop into something more, that even an ocean spanning miles and miles couldn't completely separate them from one another?
