Just after the end of Kingdom of Ash, after Aelin Galathynius' coranation, Manon Blackbeak, along with her Thirteen, the rest of the Blackbeak with clan, the Blueblood, witch clan, the Yellowlegs witch clan, and the Crochans, returns to the Witch Kingdom after the prophecy is fullfilled. Manon's Second, Asterin is among them. Asterin is restless, the loss of the witches in the battle impacting her greatly as well as feeling like her life is incomplete.
