Just after the end of Kingdom of Ash, after Aelin Galathynius' coranation, Manon Blackbeak, along with her Thirteen, the rest of the Blackbeak with clan, the Blueblood, witch clan, the Yellowlegs witch clan, and the Crochans, returns to the Witch Kingdom after the prophecy is fullfilled. Manon's Second, Asterin is among them. Asterin is restless, the loss of the witches in the battle impacting her greatly as well as feeling like her life is incomplete. She's missing a certain Fae it seems. Back in Terrasen, Aelin and her court are thriving. All are at peace...for the most part. Fenrys Moonbeam is struggling to overcome the loss of his brother...and a certain witch. As Asterin and Fenrys struggle to overcome their feelings and obstacles...will they find their way back to each other? Or will they give up on their feelings and move on?
