'At the end of every tunnel, there is a light.'

Keeping her dead mother's favorite saying close to heart, thirteen year old Jovian Lancaster safeguards her younger brothers as they navigate through boarding school three years after the death of their parents.

Guarding her brothers and coping with both random pains and nightmares seem to be what her life is leading up to until she discovers a dead body in the fields of her father's alma mater.

Soon after, she discovers a new world of supernatural abilities in a place referred to as the Colosseum -- a place that abducts the Lancaster triplets and for strange reason - their parents had once been a part of it.

After undergoing grueling training, Jovian must ascertain the Triad of Surya- a set of weapons given by the Colosseum to her maternal blood line, Jovian must keep an eye on them to see if the Rajashvi family - already proved complicit in murder - is misusing them.

However, as Jovian and her brothers dig deeper, they discover that not everything is as it seems, both with their own family, their abilities, and the Colosseum itself... .

Labonair. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thankfully, Addison finally speaks once more and drags Kate from the thoughts raging in her mind. "We leave tomorrow afternoon." Taking a deep breath in, Kate slowly exhales through her nose, nodding once and bypassing the two in the living room as she heads for the door and leaves without a word. Starting her car, she lays her head back on the headrest and closes her eyes for several minutes as she struggles to calm her trembling nerves, willing her tense muscles to loosen and relax - the other part of her geared up for a fight the entire time she spoke with Jacob. "Fuck me!" She slurs, head in her hands, words muffled. "What have I agreed to?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Little did the family know that a day into their road trip, they'd have a chance encounter with a trio of theives - the infamous Gecko siblings desperate to get to Mexico without being caught, the eldest brother determined to reach El Ray, whilst his brother slowly teters on the brink of insanity, and his sister grows tired of her brothers' antics. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DISCLAIMER: All storylines and characters - beside my own - belong to Robert Rodriguez and the Directors of the the tv show adaptation and the orginal films.
The Silent Sister by Orphic_bae
33 parts Ongoing Mature
Alessandra has never believed in safety. Life never gave her a reason to. Pain carved her childhood, silence became her armor, and trust? That was a luxury she could never afford. So when she runs -- bloody, broken, and barely breathing, she doesn't expect saving. She certainly doesn't expect to be taken in by a family dripping in wealth and power and. . . warmth? A mother who refuses to give up on her. A father who watches like he's waiting for her to let him in. And six brothers. Rough. Protective. Complicated. Brothers, who don't know what to do with a sister who won't speak. She doesn't know how to trust. How to believe that maybe not everyone wants to hurt her. Every instinct tells her to run. To shut down. But they don't let her go. Not when she flinches. Not when she hides. Not even when she breaks. Happiness is for other people, or that's what she believes. But when love comes wrapped in gentle patience and fierce protection, when hands reach for her without demand, when hearts break themselves wide open just to hold her... she starts to wonder. Can a girl stitched together with silence and fear ever belong in a family built on love? Can she stand tall when the ghosts of her past refuse to let go? And when danger claws its way back into her life, threatening everything she's come to know... will she find her voice, or will she shatter all over again? Trigger Warnings: Child abuse. Violence. Addiction. Panic attacks. Self-harm. Death, and more.

Dark Romance • Betrayal • Mafia • Obsession ❀❁❀❁✿✾✿ She wakes...not confused, not afraid. Calm. Calculated. Dangerous. The pitch-black room, the dying light above her, the cuffs around her wrists...none of it rattles her. She remembers enough. Enough to know this wasn't an accident. The door opens. And the man who once loved her like a religion walks in...the same man who destroyed her like a sin. He looks at her like he still owns her. She looks at him like he's already dead. Her voice cuts the silence, low and poisonous: "Was it you?" Not a question. A warning. Because this time, she isn't the one who's trapped. He is. ❀❁❀❁✿✾✿
