The whole saloon went quiet at a standstill. The red-haired man stopped before he could reach the third step. Lana stumbled back, her fumble the only sound heard. Her hand quickly fell from its trap. She rubbed her wrist, slowly turning to see what had ensued. Her eye was even with the barrel of a revolver. Her breath hitched in her throat as she looked at the man behind the gun. All she could make out in her focus were the green eyes she had fallen into just hours prior. Doc.

"Would you favor me in steppin' aside, my dear?" he spoke softly.

Some dialogue and details used are taken from the movie Tombstone's script/screenplay by Kevin Jarre.
I don't own any of these characters apart from the OC, and a few minor characters.
This work is about the Doc Holliday from the movie, Tombstone and not the real and historical figure Doc Holliday, although details of his life are used for the purpose of the story.

[COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. Julia Goldstone is a girl from a small town where nothing ever happens. She has no family and an abusive boyfriend who she can't escape. Reed Eastwood is a cold blooded killer with no emotions. He is the king of the largest mafia in the world, ready for a loveless arranged marriage and refuses to show mercy to anyone. What happens when the two of them cross paths and everything changes? Julia is determined not to fall for the devil and Reed doesn't believe he is capable of love. Will they fall for one another in the complicated world of danger and lust? Or will they realise that the mafia king truly is 'heartless'? "Excuse me?" he said, slowly making his way back over to me. "I said that I'm not coming with you." I mumbled in a tone a lot less demanding. He held my chin between his fingers, just as Logan had earlier that night, but this mysterious stranger was a lot stronger. His scent filled my senses and I began to feel lightheaded. He inched his face closer to mine, forcing me to stare deeply into his eyes. The tension could have been cut with a knife. "It's cute that you think you have a choice sweetheart." he whispered, sending shivers down my spine. _______________ DISCLAIMERS: All of these ideas belong to me, don't steal them! 53 Chapters. (Completed) I pushed her back and she landed on the bed with a slight bounce. She swallowed hard and her right hand shot up to her stomach. My eyes watched her every movement as if she was my prey. I knew for a fact that she was now equally scared and nervous. I slowly made my way towards the bed and parted her legs with my knee, hovering above her. "I suggest you watch that mouth around me." I spat. Her breath hitched as our faces were now only a centimeter apart. Without giving it much thought, I leaned in and captured her lips in a bruising kiss.
