In this AU, instead of proposing before he went back, Takemichi and Hinata had a mutual breakup where they both confessed they had lost feelings. Takemichi didn't exactly lose feelings, more-so they transferred to someone else. Who is that someone else? None other than former Tokyo Manji Gang leader, Sano 'Mikey' Manjiro.

Being stuck in a never-ending loop of time-leaping, Hanagaki Takemichi began to lose faith in ever being able to save her. His first love. Tachibana Hinata. The person he's traveled into the past over and over again for. That is, until he reaches the perfect future. A future where everyone's happy.

It was a perfect future. So why? Why is he still longing for someone? Someone whose gone off the deep end? Why is he still trying, even knowing this could kill him? Perhaps it's because he stopped fearing death after the first hundred times he's come close, if not for this god-like ability he's been given.
