Annie Leonhart is a college student studying photography in Stohess. Armin Arlert is a med school graduate who works at Liberio Medical in Marley.
As the school year ends, Annie is eager to get back home to her father and boyfriend of one year - Armin. They had been keeping up over face time with the occasional visits but they'd finally get to spend an entire summer together.
However, a certain Indelible turn of events towards the end of the summer changes everything about the way Annie feels and leaves them both scarred. Annie is left with nothing but the option to sit on the floor wearing Armin's clothes.
