In a far off land, a forest burns and a man loses his life. Thousands of kilometres away and hundreds of years later a teenage boy finds a gemstone which starts him on an epic and terrifying path...
This is a story which I have been working on for years. It started off very
different but has gradually evolved over the last few years. This is
the latest version of it, which I hope will also be the last. I have
also done extensive work on developing a lot of backstory and lore for
the Universe, which I hope to be able to use more in later stories.
Also, it should be noted that there won't be anything more than allusions to fantasy elements for the first few chapters.
