Ayla Thompson thinks that she is just a normal orphan that lives in lower Manhattan that is until her seventh birthday. A couple of weeks before her birthday the orphanage's ownership changed. The new director was mean and nasty and always looked at Ayla like she was something to eat. The director began to abused Ayla, it continued until her the morning of June 12th, the day she turned eight. That day he got himself drunk, Ayla hoped that he would ignore her for that day but instead he forced her onto the bed and took the second last thing she owned. She ran away from the orphanage that night. She ran into the woods and remembered something about a camp in Long Island. Will Ayla actually make it to camp or will she get lost or hurt This story takes place about three years after the war with Gaea.All Rights Reserved
