It was soon after the end of the series when Kurt found himself in the one world that created him, his friends, and everything he considered reality until that day. Now he managed to come back to his world - one you consider the cartoon's canon - and now he has to face it once more, from the beginning until the end and beyond.  
Story set in universe of X-Men: Evolution, where Kurt - also known as Nightcrawler - comes back in time to the beginning of the story, yet this time with a company you never knew before... A girl he met in the 'real' world and her relative.
Even someone who doesn't know the canon and characters will be alright reading this story, because everything will be introduced slowly and from the very basics. There might be some grammar mistakes, but english isn't my first language, just give me time.
Everyone and anyone, I gladly invite you to look into lives of those superpowered teenagers and adults who struggle to help the world that despites them and get to see their uniqueness as gifts, not curses.

Kerri was just a normal teenager with maybe a little worse than normal home life, and an ok but dull school life. That is, until she one day develops an interesting problem. She gains mutant powers, and her appearance starts changing randomly with her emotions. Now she has to try and keep those under a tighter lock than before, because mutant hysteria has hit her town, and she went from an unknown quiet bookworm to the topic on everybody's tongue. Then it really hits the fan at home and she has to leave before it gets worse. Luckily, Professor Charles Xavier finds her and saves her from the streets before something unthinkable can happen to her. Unfortunately it took him a year to find her and she's withdrawn from the world, and isn't used to socializing with humans anymore. And then there's Kurt, code name Nightcrawler. He's a mutant too, and has been treated differently his whole life because of the way he looks. The best day of his life was coming to the institute and getting the hologram that hides the way he really looks so he can finally look like everyone else. But when the newest student comes to the school, he finds himself judging her by looks too. Until she pushes him into showing her his true appearance and marks his life as the first person to ever tell him that he looks better without the hologram. Then, as promised, she shows him what she really looks like and he falls for her. Too bad there's only two trimesters left of his senior year before he graduates. Will Kurt be able to pull Kerri out of her shell before he graduates and has to find what to do next with his life?
