Have you ever thought about how were feeling Frank, Leo or Nico's mother to see their son fighting in a war from the underworld and know that the only way they could see their children was for them to die?
"I mean I belive in my child (like every good parent should), but tell me how a static electricity ball, a rebel beauty pageant winner, a pyromancer, a nerd, a fish on two legs, an alive metal detector and a big teddy bear would be able to go to Europe (not even talking about win a war against immortal beings) without getting killed by monsters or simply kill each other!?" The Second Giant War was gruesome. With only 3 of the 7 left alive, they demigods of prophecy left the camps. They were unable, or maybe just unwilling, to be in the places where their friends once walked. They chose to escape the world of demigods while they still could. They wanted to try for normal so that maybe, one day, they could forget any of it ever happened. They wanted peace and safety. Nico... well, Nico had other ways of coping. ------------- Nico had had a long life. 16 years old, plus however many had passed in that cured casino had left little joy in his life. He had lost his grandparents, his mother, Bianca, his friends, and then Hazel... he missed her more than he could bare. He only knew his sister for around a year before he had lost her, and not a single day had passed in the last two years that he hadn't thought of her. He couldn't go to either camp or the underworld without feeling like his chest would explode from the pain. He knew she was in a better place. Her and Frank were in Elysium with Jason, Piper, and the rest of the heroes that died in the wars. She was at peace. Maybe she had even managed meet his mother and they were watching him now... though he honestly hoped they weren't. It all started after the Battle of Manhattan. Will was going home to his mother, they lived in Gotham because of Will's mom career so he doesn't complain to much. But after a unfortunate run in, Gotham gives Will a good reason to hate it. But a family of Bats might just change that again and make Will part of their family. I like Will he is probably my favorite PJO character and there are just barely any stories about him.
